Service Descriptions

The following is a list of common services Shore Strike provides for boat and yacht owners.

Wash Services

Weekly and bi-weekly scheduled washes are available.

Washing of exterior of the boat. All gel coat/fiberglass, aluminum, stainless, enclosures, and vinyl will be soaped down and chamois dried. All compartments and hatches will be washed and chamois dried. We use the finest of cleaning products that will not strip down your protective finish unlike other competitors.

Wash and Compound/Polish Hull

A detailed wash and dry on the entire boat. A three step application will be completed on the hull (i.e., compounding, finesse, and polish).

NOTE: Not all steps are not necessary on every boat. Paint finishes and gel coat are not the same! Compounds can strip the paint right off the boat. We will provide a professional evaluation to determine the steps that are needed.

Scuff marks, rub marks, and nasty scum lines will be removed at best. Heavy oxidation removal can be done at an extra cost.

Complete Detail

This is a top notch service that will protect and restore your boat. A professional eye will determine what will be needed in order to restore your showroom shine. A full detailed wash on entire boat. Buffing and polishing on entire topside and hull. Also, conditioning of all vinyl, polishing of all bright work, polishing of enclosures and glass. Minor mold treatment will be done. Serious mold issues can be removed at extra cost. Caulk lines will be brightened. All outboard motors will also be polished.

Boat Deliveries

We will provide a detailed cleaning on brand new boats. We do deliveries for dealers/marinas to provide their customers with 100% satisfaction of their purchase.

Cabin Detailing

As an individual service or as an add-on to a wash or complete detail, we will dust all surfaces, vacuum, clean and polish all areas of cabin. This service will also include kitchenette, dining areas, bedrooms, bilges, and bathrooms/heads.

Shrink Wrap

We’ll fully protect your vessel using heavy-duty marine shrink wrap. All required ventilation, supports, and mold and mildew bags are included. Our shrink wrap services are guaranteed for 1 year.

NOTE: Any alterations or changes made by the customer or marina will void our guarantee.

Doors are available at an additional cost so that you are able to do interior work during the off season.

Bottom Painting

On all new boats without bottom paint, we will do a protective barrier coat then finish with a top coat of antifouling paint. We use Interlux®, Pettit®, and Seahawk® products for our bottom paints.

For boats that already have bottom paint, we will scuff, scrape, and sand to prepare the surface for a new coat of bottom paint.
